hands down the best panini I had in Florence!!!...little place, cozy and welcoming. Try any of the Santa Maria Novella, Santa Croce or San Lorenzo. Wine selection is good and you'll find a bottle to pair perfectly with your amazing panini. Highly recommended.
Food here is very good! Ingredients are top quality. You realize that when you eat what looks like a "simple sandwich" and it tastes fantastic. We tried Schiacciata and Crostini. You can go wrong!
The best sandwich I’ve ever had. Very reasonably priced. Get here at opening, because the line gets crazy. Update: there’s a place down the street that’s supposed to have the best sandwiches in the country (All’Antico Vinaio) and the line is always a block long. I tried both, and I think Budellino was actually much better. The other place has a much bigger menu, but the bread isn’t nearly as good as it is here.
We ended up coming here twice during our stay in Florence after being frightened by the lines at the nearby famous sandwich shop. Turns out they have fantastic sandwiches right here in this no-line establishment, including a vegetarian one …
Was part of a tour showing us food in town, Had a few differernt appetizers and the best glass of red wine I ever had in my life as their self branded house wine.
Ate breakfast there daily during our week in Florence. Good value ,food and coffee. And a great location and place to watch the local comings and goings. Don't know how the staff kept up the pace. Highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Delicious sandwiches, perfect for a lunch stop and quick sit down. Panini with tripe cooked in a tomato base was delicious and the amount of meat was generous.
I love this place. The coffee was great and cheaper than other places. They have a place to sit. I am gluten free and they have salads and platters without bread. They also have a variety of fruit and vegetables juices.
